Abigail Lloyd (Set Construction and Visual Artist, The ETLE Universe) is an artist living in Brooklyn, NY, by way of San Francisco and Maine. Since graduating Bard College in 2007 with a degree in Installation Art, Abigail has maintained a studio practice at her home studio and at residencies.  Working variously on paper, with metal, plexiglass, and digitally, she is interested in exploring grief and secrets with a maximalist femme sensibility.  Abigail often installs work outdoors as a conduit for showing temporality and change: steel will rust, paper will dissolve and words spoken will morph into memories.  The internet, the largest public space, allows for massive consumption of art.  By installing work both in the virtual plane and in the physical, she is confronting a varied and vocal audience.  Interested in the liminal space between public declarations and private concessions, Abigail looks to expand what we consider appropriate discourse to include panic, loss and struggle.   Whether through intricate patterning, created out of a need for meditative mark-making, or an array of colors situated in a particular memory, Abigail’s work provokes reflection and gestures towards the possibility, if not the eventuality, of fortitude and calm. 

Andre Azevedo (Visual Artist, The ETLE Universe) is an interactive multimedia artist. He worked as a designer and curator of art installations and performances for MIX NYC, and has been in a number of collaborations with reallyamazing artists. Currently he is a video playback operator for TV and films and lives in Brooklyn with his sweetie, Caitlin Rose, and their dog Disco
